CUSTOM ORDERING INFORMATION AND TIPS

ANY HAIR-REPLACEMENTS YOU NOW HAVE CAN BE DUPLICATED BY SENDING A SAMPLE OF THE PIECE YOU WOULD LIKE COPIED.

1.BASE TYPE:  Specify either a stock model or the materials you would like for the base design.

LACE FRONT: If you would like a lace front , specify the type of lace you would like ( welded, French etc.) the width of the lace front and if you would like the lace front stitched or folded.

SCALLOP FRONT: If you would like a scallop front specify the number of scallops desired.

2. BASE SIZE: Make a template using the tape method ( see how to make a template)  or send a sample base you would like us to copy.  Mark the front and back of template and be sure any markings on template are consistent with what you are ordering.

3. HAIR DIRECTION: Choose the direction you would like your hair vented.  If you choose a part specify the part appearance and material used for part area. All human hair stock pieces are made as PART ANYWHERE that allows you to style the hair in any direction..If you would like to comb hair back choose BRUSH BACK.

4. CURL:  Curl is specified in mm.  Lighter colors and longer lengths react differently during the perming procedure.  We recommend you do the perming to achieve the results you want.  All stock hair systems are made with a BODY WAVE  or  22-25 mm.  You can choose different curl in each section of the custom piece.

5.HAIR LENGTH: There is no extra charge for hair length up to 7 inches. Most stock units are made with top 4” sides 5-6” and back 6-7”. If your custom order is for one length style such as a page boy make sure to  order hair in section 1-3-5  to match sides and back.  See custom chart for additionl charges for custom orders.

6.HAIR DENSITY:  Medium density is 100% of the base vented.  Other density amounts are noted on order form.  You can choose different density for different sections of custom hair piece. Many like to have hair with more density at hairline and less density at crown.

7.ATTACHMENT AREA:  This can pertain to the perimeter or you can choose to have additional attachment areas throughout the custom hair piece.

POLY is a see through flexible skin that allows for a very natural feel and look. The NOVA NATURAL is made entirely of poly skin at three grams.  You can choose a thicker poly or thinner than three grams.

POLY COATING: is a stronger POLY that has mesh sandwiched between the layers of poly.  This is stronger but not as flexible.

CLIPS can be sewn to either poly or poly coating.

POLY AND POLY COATING  can be used as an attachment area for daily tape or full bonding tape or adhesive.

RIBBON if you would like a ribbon perimeter please specify width.

8.HAIR TYPE: Our stock and custom hair systems are made using 100% indian human hair or 100% NOVA TECH  synthetic hair.  If your custom requires we can use REMI HAIR for an additional charge.  GREY HAIR in our stock hair systems is NOVA TECH synthetic hair up to 50% grey and a combination of synthetic and yak hair for grey amounts over 50%.  We can make you custom using grey human hair but there is an additional charge.

9.HAIR COLOR: Sending hair samples is the best match.  You can order using our color ring and specifying the amount of grey or highlights you would  like.
